Lee started a small, family owned business by building a 4x8 freezer and custom processing in his barn. Then, in the start of the 1970’s, Buxton Meat took a step towards success by becoming U.S. D. A. approved. Three years later, the now growing business welcomed it’s new owner, Lyle Buxton. Mr. Buxton expanded the company while building a reputable relationship with the community.  He ran the business until late 1990’s. In 2009, the Malkovsky family entered the company, along with their innovative visions and goals. They fully remodeled the facility and improved it with drastic changes made possible by today’s technology.
